The Downtown Campus has no on-site coffee bar, but local coffee shops near campus offer varying vibes and experiences to please every coffee lover.
at 14 South Tejon Street offers a food menu, daily coffee specials and a 20 percent student discount. There is plenty of room with two floors of tables and outdoor seating both upstairs and down. The vibe is cozy, conversational and feels like a more historic setting.
, near the end of the street at 1025 South Sierra Madre Street offers a casual setting for coffee connoisseurs. They call themselves a “boutique coffee roaster” and “waffle and whiskey bar”. They offer Wi-Fi, daily specials and happy hour is from four to six every afternoon.
, on the edge of Acacia Park at 120 East Bijou Street, won in January. The shop is in a tiny house and is moveable. The vibe is minimalist with good coffee and quick wit. They don’t have Wi-Fi and offer limited indoor and deck seating.
